MHRA Launches EAT HEALTHY MISSISSIPPI Initiative The MHRA has received an $83,000 grant from the USDA to kick off this statewide healthy dining initiative. In addition, the Ms Division of Tourism has committed another $5750 to offset implementation costs incurred by restaurants. On July 23 and 24, 2012, the MHRA will host the First Annual Restaurant University. Restaurant University is not a food show. Rather, it is a 2 day educational symposium designed to help restaurant operators learn more about operational tips that can help them build sales and maximize profits. There will be a mini table top expo, where MHRA associate members will present their products and services directly to MHRA restaurant members.
