ServSafe is a National Restaurant Association food safety training program for hospitality personnel. It is recognized in all 50 states and is recognized as the “top of the line” program. It accounts for 95 % of all food safety instruction in Mississippi.
Mississippi Hospitality & Restaurant Association classes are genuine ServSafe, which means your certificate is recognized nationwide. Books are based on the new food code and are available in English, Chinese and Spanish. Tests are available in several languages, including Spanish, Chinese and Korean. Many Mississippi Community Colleges and MSU Extension offices teach genuine ServSafe classes.
